Jackson County Man Arrested; Pot Seized

Three law enforcement agencies worked together to arrest a Jackson County man. About 15 pounds of marijuana were confiscated as well. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department said its deputies obtained a sealed indictment from the county Grand Jury on Jason King. Weather Delays Mine Lick Creek, Crawford Construction

Weather delays pushed back construction on two Putnam County roads for nearly a week. TDOT spokeswoman Jennifer Flynn said Mine Lick Creek Road and Crawford Road closed to traffic Tuesday morning. An accident that claimed the lives of two men Tuesday happened on a road closed by TDOT. The Livingston City Council voted Monday night to release $33,000 to the Downtown Revitalization Committee. Smoke Forces Pine View Elementary To Evacuate Tuesday

Cumberland County’s Pine View Elementary School briefly evacuated Tuesday morning due to a malfunctioning heating and cooling unit. County fire crews responded to the facility around 8:45 a.m. for reports of smoke in a classroom.
